Warren H. Dickey

Warren H Dickey, 73, Olathe, died Feb. 19, 1988, at the Olathe Medical Center. He was born in Wayne City, Ill., and lived in Olathe most of his life. Mr. Dickey was an aviation machinist for the Navy for 30 years and retired as a chief petty officer second class in 1966. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, both in Olathe. He also worked at Sutherland's in Olathe for six years. He was a member of the First Methodist Church of Olathe. His wife Vivian A Dickey, died in 1985. Survivors include four daughters, . . . ; two brothers, Allen Dickey, Montgomery City, Mo., and Norman Molone, Houston; four sisters, Juanita Noel, St. Louis, Evelyn Ryon, Springfield. Mo., Edna Wilson, Manteca, Calif., Fern Triplet, Buena Park, Calif.; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Frye Chapel, Olathe; burial in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society.
