ROODHOUSE - Lester O. Williams, 90, of Roodhouse passed away Sunday, March 22, 2009, at the White Hall Nursing and Rehab Center.

He was born June 27, 1918, the son of Silas and Frances O. Johnson Williams. He married Norma R. Clevenger on March 4, 1944, in Springfield.

He was a farmer all of his life, raising cattle and crops. He loved being out in the country and working in his machine shed. He loved his Allis-Chalmers tractors. His family meant the most to him and he enjoyed spending as much time with them as possible. He and his son were the best of friends and completely inseparable.
