Kear, Reba Long age 74 of Seymour died Monday, April 1, 2002 at Baptist Hospital. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church and retired from ALCOA and was a member of their 25-Year Club.

Preceded in death by: Husband, Sidney Kear; Parents, Ollie & Georgie Long; Brother, G.B. Long; Sisters, Mary Belle Boring and Eunice Riden.

Survivors include: Daughter and Son-in-law, Nancy and Larry Cummings of Seymour; Grandson, Jason and wife Sherry Cummings; Grand-daughter, Angie Cummings; Brothers, Clifford Long and Gene Long both of Maryville; Sister, Eileen Stineman of Maryville.

Special thanks to Dr. Rick Lee and his staff, Wing 7B Baptist Hospital Nurses and ER Greeter, Shirley Cate.

Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at 10:30 AM, Thursday, April 4, 2002 at Providence Cemetery with Rev. Dallas Gibson, Rev. W.H. Galyon, Rev. Troy Cody, and Rev. Tom Robins officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Providence WMU or Building Fund, 5766 Sevierville Road, Seymour, TN 37865. Friends may call at their convenience after 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, April 3, 2002 at Smith Mortuary. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Wednesday, April 3, 2002, West Chapel, Smith Mortuary, Maryville.
