Mrs. Martha A. Lilly Dies
Mrs. Martha A. Lilly died Monday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Dan Nichols. Mrs. Lilly had been ill about two weeks. Mrs. Lilly has been a resident of this section for a great many years, and was well known and had a very large circle of friends.
She has been a widow some years and leaves five sons and daughters as follows: Charles and George Lilly, well known farmers living northwest of Jasper; Mrs. Dan Nichols of Jasper, Harve Lilly of Greenfield, and a Mrs. Crone who lives in Idaho.
When this was written on Tuesday, final funeral arrangements were awaiting word from the daughter in Idaho. It was announced however that Rev. J.T. Osborn would preach the funeral sermon, and that interment would take place in Waters Cemetery. The relatives have the sympathy of many friends.
