Services Arranged Friday P.M.
Leaving thirty-three descendants, one of them a great-great-grandchild, Mrs. Martha Jane Kanarr, widow of Jacob Kanarr and who would have observed her ninetieth birthday July second, next, passed away Tuesday morning in her home, 229 Philadelphia street. A daughter of Adam and Elizabeth (Caldwell) King, natives of Armstrong County, she was born in Grant township, lived there and in Rayne township, before removing to Indiana 35 years ago. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
Surviving are these children: S. T. Kanarr of Indiana R. D. 1; Mrs. J. P. Lydic and Mrs. Robert T. Helman, both of Indiana R. D. 3, and Mrs. C. E. Henry, Ira Guy Kanarr, Mortimer A. Kanarr and Miss Hester Kanarr, all of Indiana. Surviving are 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Friends will be received after 4 p.m. today in Streams Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Arthur J. Pfohl, D. D., will officiate and the body will be placed in the Greenwood Cemetery mausoleum.
