Willard Clinton Bennett, 80 of Dalton, died Monday, May 28, 2001 at Randolph County Medical Center. He was born May 23, 1921, near Elm Store, a son of the late Wayne and Virgie (Looney) Bennett. He was a retired farmer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Mae, and an infant son, Willard Warren Bennett. Survivors are a brother, Rufford Bennett of Couch, Mo., and Maxine Prewitt of Maryland Heights, Mo. Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Harmon Seawel and Mackie McReynolds officiating. Burial will follow in King Cemetery.
