Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Myron Knapschafer, Fort Dodge, IA, and Mrs. Thomas Miller, St. Marys; a brother, Luke, Celina; two sisters, Mrs. Clifford Honie, Celina, and Mrs. Aswin Anderson, St. Marys; and 13 grandchildren.
He was a shipping clerk at Mersman Corp. and operated Peck's Drive-In Restaurant east of Celina. He was a member of Celina Eagles Lodge, Men's Garden Club, and the Knights of Columbus.
Services were in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina.
