Birth: 1648
Massachusetts, USA
Death: 1726
Topsfield
Essex County
Massachusetts, USA

The son of my ancestor, LT. FRANCIS PEABODY, and his first wife, Lydia, he married (1) Sarah Estes, and (2) Elizabeth.

He and his family lived in Topsfield, Mass where he inherited the family homestead. He was one of the first who signed his name Peabody instead of Pabody. His will was written on October 21, 1726 and proved January 2, 1716-7. He made bequests to his wife, Elizabeth, to his sons - Francis, Isaac, Matthew, Eastis, Joseph (who inherited the grist mill), and to daughters -- Mary (living at Boston), Philadelphia, Sarah, Ann & Hepsibath.
