Mrs. Eva McClaskey
Funeral services for Mrs. Eva Geraldine McClaskey, 62, 312 W. Main, will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 18, in the Memorial Chapel of the Fairley-Hackler Funeral Home, with Capt. Loyce Lee, Salvation Army, officiating. Interment under the direction of Fairley-Hackler Funeral Home will be in the Euchee Valley Memorial Park.
Mrs. McClaskey died at 10:43 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 1985, in Saint Francis Hospital, Tulsa.
A native of Oklahoma, Mrs. McClaskey was born April 20, 1922, in Cushing, the daughter of the late J.C. and Edith (Taylor) Allen. She was reared and received her early education in Cushing. She was married to Earl McClaskey Dec. 10, 1959.
Mrs. McClaskey worked at the Salvation Army Thrift Store for 11 years until her retirement in 1983 due to ill health. She was a member of the Salvation Army Church and the Home League.
Survivors include her husband, Earl McClaskey of the home; three sons, Vernie Stiver, Telliso Plains, Tenn., Larry Stiver, Dewar, Okla., and Charles McClaskey, Cushing; two daughters, Evelyn Cluck, Parsons, Kan., and Sherry Gannaway, Galesburg, Kan.; seven brothers, Gene Allen, Sedalia, Mo., Ray Allen, Norwalk, Calif., J.C. Allen, Jr., of Missouri, David Allen, Oklahoma City, Bill, Clifford and Jim Allen, all of Cushing; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. McClaskey was preceded in death by a son and a brother.
