Catharine was the daughter of Solomon HOFFERT, Sr., and Margaret HENRICKS.
She married the Rev. John HUNSAKER on May 30, 1833, in Fairfield Co., Ohio.
She was the mother of Margaret, Perry, Jacob, Solomon, Diana, Caleb, Joshua, William, Noah, and Abraham.
Catharine was a member of the German Baptist Church.
PLEASE NOTE:
According to page 16 of the 1909 HUFFORD FAMILY HISTORY, Catharine was born on February 3, 1814. However, her grave stone is clearly readable, and subtracting her years, months, and days from her date of death results in a date of birth of January 4, 1814.
