The son of Joseph Easton, Sr., a founder of Hartford, he was propounded a freeman of Hartford along with his father in October of 1669.
In 1664, he married HANNAH ENSIGN in Hartford. He was appointed to be a deacon of the First Church of Hartford in April of 1691, and chosen to be a grand juror on March 5, 1674.
His will was signed on February 8, 1709/10, and recorded in Early Connecticut Probate Records on March 3, 1711/12. His inventory was taken on February 1 1711/12 & valued at 986 pounds, 3 shillings, 2 pence. He was predeceased by his widow, and left considerable land & money to his four living children (or husbands): Joseph Easton, HANNAH (EASTON) MILES (my ancestor), Jonathan Easton, and Thankful (Easton) Trowbridge.
