OBITUARY, Rushville [IN] Republican, Monday, March 31, 1947:

A. N. McMichael Expires Sunday

Albert N. McMichael, 82, died at his home south of Arlington Sunday evening at 7 o'clock after an illness of several months.

He was born October 27, 1864, a son of William and Sarah Worth McMichael. His wife, [Phoebe] Ann Coffin McMichael preceded him in death in 1911.

He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. R. B. Hardin, Kankakee, Ill.; Mrs. H. R. Anderson, Arlington, and Miss Edna McMichael at home; three sons, Loren and Harold McMichael, Connersville, and Carson McMichael, Arlington; two sisters, Mrs. Eva Bartlett and Miss Myrtle McMichael, south of Arlington; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock at the Wesley[an] Methodist church, south of Arlington, of which he was a member most of his life. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at the late residence after six o'clock this evening.

Retired Farmer Dies at Home
Long Illness Fatal To Albert N. McMichael

Albert N. McMichael, 82-year-old retired farmer, died at his home south of Arlington in Rush county Sunday evening at 7:00 o'clock after a long illness due to a complication of diseases.

Mr. McMichael, who had been an active member of the Little Blue River Wesleyan Methodist Church since he was 22 years of age, was born in Rush county on October 27, 1864. He was the son of William and Sarah (Worth) McMichael. On August 18, 1892, he was married to Phoebe Ann Coffin, whose death occurred on February 24, 1911. Three sons and three daughters born to the union survive. They are Mrs. R. B. Hardin, of Kankakee, Ill.; Mrs. H. R. Anderson and Miss Edna McMichael, of Arlington; Loren and Harold McMichael, of Connersville, and Carson McMichael, of Arlington. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Eva Bartlett and Miss Myrtle McMichael, of Rush county; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Little Blue River Wesleyan Methodist Church Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock and burial will be made in the church cemetery in charge of D. E. Carmony. Friends may call at the late home after 6:00 o'clock this evening.
