ROBERT MACRAE GILBERT.
Died at His Residence in This City Last Night----Funeral Tomorrow.
Friends in this city will receive with sorrow the announcement of the death of Mr. Robert MacRae Gilbert, which occurred at his residence on Second between Nun and Church streets last night at 9 :25 o'clock.
Mr. Gilbert was the youngest son of the late Capt. H. D. Gilbert and was in the 38th year of his age.
About three weeks ago he became quite ill with lagrippe, which developed in a very short time into typhoid pneumonia, ultimately causing his death. Very soon after he was seized with the dreaded disease which ended in death he became unconscious and never rallied.
He leaves a beloved wife, a mother, Mrs. H. D. Gilbert, and three sisters, Mrs. H. M. Bowden, Mrs. H. M. Foard and Mrs. W. J. Kirkham, who mourn their loss.
The funeral will be from Grace M. E. Church to-morrow morning at 10 o'clock, by the pastor, Rev.
A. P. Tyer. Hanover Lodge No. 145, I. O. O.F., of which he was a valued member, have been called to assemble in their lodge room Monday morning at 9 o clock, and will attend the funeral in a body.
