Wannie Miller married Mossie E. Honeycutt October 20, 1920 in Fork Ridge, Tenn.
James Clyde, Charles, Kyle, Vola (Barnes), Barbara Geraldine (Sheets), Etta (Kenneth Johnson), Donna (Lynch). Charles, Vola, Geraldine, and Donna are deceased.
Wannie is buried at Green Hill Cemetary in Middlesboro, KY. (Use to be called Roselawn) on 25E.
The Rev. Mr. Miller was employed for many years as a coal miner in TN prior to moving to Monroe, MI in 1933. As a Monroe resident he was employed by the Monroe Stamping Plant, of the Ford Motor Co., until retiring in 1964. He was a minister for 40 years and had preached in various churches in Monroe. Wannie both helped build and found the Kentucky Park Missionary Baptist Church just across the street from the family home (which he built) in Monroe. His address in Monroe was 6628 St. Vincent's St.
Wannie was also known by some folks as "Singing Mart" after Martin Miller, as he was a good singer. According to Vola, Wannie's daughter, Martin Luther Miller was known to be a great singer, along of course with having been a musician. They also always had a piano in the home.
Wannie was also a talented wood crafter.
