SEBRING - Carl N. Fultz, 88, of Sebring passed away at Crandall Medical Center at 7:25 a.m. Thursday. He was born in Minerva on Sept. 30, 1920 the son of Orion and Bessie (Leatherberry) Fultz.
He proudly served in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific campaign during World War II. After returning from the service he worked at Royal China in Sebring until it was destroyed by fire in 1970. For the rest of his working career he was a GM employee at the Lordstown plant, retiring in 1986. Carl was a member of Pine Lake Christian Church
Mr. Fultz is survived by his son Floyd (Jean) Fultz of O'Fallon, Ill., daughter Carla (John) McIntosh of Minerva; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death n March 27, 2007 by his wife Faye (Stryffeler) Fultz whom he married April 26, 1946.
Services will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Monday with Pastor David Parry officiating. Friends may call on Sunday at the funeral home from 2 to 8 p.m. with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park.
