MRS. MARY DOAN DIES AFTER SUFFERING PARALYTIC STROKE

Mary Daniels Doan passed away Friday, Feb.18, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Estella Boelson, of Terra Haute. She has been in poor health for about five years, and suffered a paralytic stroke fuor weeks previous to her death.

Funeral services were held at the Arabia church Sunday afternoon at 2 o"clock. the burial took place in the cemetery near the church.

Mary Daniels was born near Mecca, Ind., on March 30, 1864, making her a few months past 62 years of age.

She was the daughter of John and Lavina Daniels, and spent her whole life in the vicinity in which she was born. In early life she united with the Leatherwood United Brethern church, and lived a consistent christian life. She was married three times. On October 11, 1883 she was united inn married with Wm. Wilson. To this union was born three children, one of whom survived, Mrs. Stella Boelson with whom the deceased made her home.

Some time after the death of Mr. Wilson, she was married to Hopkins Brooker, and to them was born one son, Ralph, who survives.

Later on in life she was married to Isaac Doan,. Two sons, Edward and Vernon, were born to them.

She was a good mother, faithful and devoted to her children, a kind neighbor, and well thought of by everyone who knew her.

She is survived by the children who are: Mrs. Estella Boelson, of Terra Haute, and Vernon Doan of Mecca. She also has two sisters living in Oklahoma.
