BAILEYVILLE--Edward F. Deters, 82, Baileyville, died Monday, Nov. 30, 1998, at a hospital in Seneca.
Mr. Deters was a farmer and stockman and farmed the Deters family homestead his entire life.
He was born June 8, 1916, on the family homestead northwest of Baileyville, the son of Frank J. and Mary Agnes Osterhaus Deters. He attended school at Baileyville.
Mr. Deters was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Baileyville.
Survivors include three brothers, Aloysius Deters, Joseph Deters and Francis Deters, all of Centralia; and three sisters, Marie Stallbaumer, Seneca, Clara Krogman, Baileyville and Emma Holthaus, Horton.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a. m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Church in Baileyville with burial in the church cemetery.
