He married Polly Goodwin December 4, 1828 in Orwell Township, PA. They had 10 children: Addison Cowles, Warren Rush, William Lawson (Doctor), Chauncey Montgomery, Eliza Marie (lived 7 yrs. 2 mnths), Ruby Hannah, Orrin Goodwin (lived 1 yr. 6 months), Emily Phebe (lived 1 month 1 week), Mary Ellen and Olin Gaylord .
Zebulon was a Justice of the Peace for 18 years and an Associate Judge of the Bradford County Court, 1868-73. In politics he was originally a Whit, but on the formation fo the Republican party he became an ardent supporter of its principles. He was an Elder in the Presbyterian Church for many years. Much of his time was spent in agricultural pursuits. He lived on the farm first occupied by his father.
He cared for his parents during their last years.
Zebulon was a man without ostentation, of exemplary life, genial and sociable and highly respected by hisfellow citizens. He died on the farm where he was born and lived.
An announcement of his death on Sept. 1, 1881 From the Sullivan Review:
"Hon. Zebulon FRISBIE, of Orwell, Bradford Co., died Monday morning after an illness of only ten hours."
