Mrs. Minnie Laverne (Jones) Copeland, age 78, of Dodson, La., passed away Thursday, December 6, 2007, at the Jackson Parish Hospital in Jonesboro, La.
She was the daughter of the late Wiley E. Jones and the late Minnie L. (Caskey) Jones. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Preston Copeland; son, Gary Copeland; and daughter-in-law, Rhonda Copeland.
She is survived by her

Services are under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield, La., where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, December 7, 2007. The family will also receive friends at the Cypress Creek Baptist Church, near Dodson, La. from noon until service time Saturday, December 8, 2007. Funeral services will be held at Cypress Creek Baptist Church at 2:00 PM Saturday, with Rev. Nicholas Verret officiating. Interment will be at Cypress Creek Cemetery in Dodson, La.
