Lonnie (Skeet) Tucker, 67, passed away February 23 at Evans Memorial Hospital. The Alabama native had resided in Evans County for 30 years. He was a timber cruiser for Candler Timber Company for many years. He was of Baptist faith. Skeet enjoyed the outdoors and spending time at the cabin.
Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Martha Tucker of Bellville; three daughters and a son-in-law, Rhonda Sapp of Crawfordville, Fla., Terri and Ricky Salter of Claxton, and Debra Spivey of Woodville, Fla; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Dwayne and Bobbi Tucker of Metter and Bob and Margie Tucker of Carrollton; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Bob Bolduc of Metter and Betty and Paul Mongin of Shrewsbury, MA; four grandchildren, Kali Sapp, Will and Ben Salter, and Marrah Sapp; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 24, 6-8:00 p.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 25, 11:00 a.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Brewton Cemetery.
J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
