He ws born Oct. 17, 1921, in Wayne County, son of the late Clifford and Emma Duncan Hinds.
He was retired from the Simonds Cutting tools, Newcomerstown, after 33 years. He was a member of the North Salem Community Church and he was a veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn McKim Hinds.
He leaves a brother, LeRoy Hinds of Coshocton, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at Bundy-Law Funeral Home, where services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Dan Milburn and the Rev. Chuck Caldwell officiating.
Burial will be in North Salem Community Cemetery. Militrary graveside services will be conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
