Wayne G. Weaver, 67, of Bethlehem, died on Friday, December 30, 2005 at his residence.

Born: On September 22, 1938 in Sellersville, Pa, he was a son of the late George and Dorothy Schlemer Weaver.

Personal: He was the former husband of Kathleen Weaver.

Wayne worked for the Bethlehem Baking Co. for 30 years and also for the Stocker Brothers Dairy for 12 years. Most recently, he worked for Lehigh Valley Taxi Co.

Wayne loved his family, made friends easy, and loved to talk. He also enjoyed baseball from the 1940's and 50's.

Memberships: He was acquainted with the Springfield Church of the Brethren in Coopersburg, Pa.

Survivors: He will be lovingly remembered by his five sons, Steven of Palmerton, Dennis of Tennessee, Charles of Bethlehem Township, John of Medina, Tn, and Wayne of Mertztown; five brothers, Donald, Dennis, David, George, and Barry; a sister, Darlene Strohl, all of the Quakertown area; 17 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Two brothers, Henry and Randy, both died earlier.

Services: Will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad Street, Bethlehem. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 9 to 11 a.m.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association, 201 N. 17th Street, Suite 212, Allentown, PA 18104.
