KINGSCOTT, Louis C. Jr. Of Kalamazoo
Age 65, died Wednesday, November 23, 1994, at Tendercare/Riverside in Battle Creek. He as born December '28, 1928 in Kalamazoo, MI, the son of Louis C. and Ruth (Winter) Kingscott. He was an architect and was owner of Louis C. Kingscott Associates Architectural Firm in Kalamazoo for over 25 years, and a member of the American Society of Architects. Mr. Kingscott was a pioneer in value engineering. He was a member and Chairman of several presidential committees, most notably Small Business Administration National Advisory Council, President's Committee on Employment of the Handicapped and the National Export Expansion Council. He was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn Klocke. Surviving is a son, Louis C. Kingscott III of Great Falls, Montana. A Memorial Service will be held 4 p.m. Thursday at the First United Methodist Church in Kalamazoo. Memorials may be made to Alzheimers' Association.
