McMinnville resident and Warren County native Doris Evelyn Hickey, 76, was born April 14, 1929 and died Feb. 3 at DeKalb General Hospital in Smithville following an extended illness.

A material handler for Formfit Rogers and a member of the Mt. Leo Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Minus and Mary Christine Wiseman Wilcher. She was married to Bill Hickey who preceded her in death in 1991.

She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Gene Barnes of the Irving College community; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dwight and Tonyua Hickey and Dwayne and Lora Hickey, all of McMinnville; five grandchildren, Kyle, Kenya, and Kayla Hickey and Travis and Taneah Barnes, and three great-grandchildren, Emily Grace Hickey, Zach Hickey, and Dylan Barnes.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at High?s Chapel with Lane Dix officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery on Highway 30. Visitation will be held from 1 to 9 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until time of service Monday at High?s. Online condolences may be sent at www.highfuneralhome.com.
