Christina Rothrock was the sixth of nine known children of Jacob Rothrock (1771-1848) and Esther Zeigler Rothrock (1777-1845), who married 05 Nov 1799 at Stokes (now Forsyth) County, North Carolina.
Christina married Hugh Beckerdite (1809-1864) in c1831 at presumably Stokes (now Forsyth) or Davidson County, North Carolina. Christina and Hugh were the parents of nine known children, namely:
1. Mary Ann Beckerdite Motsinger (1832-1884)
2. Esther Catherine Beckerdite (1834-1897)
3. Salome Elizabeth Beckerdite (1836-1918)
4. Zenith Haseltine Beckerdite (1838-1884)
5. Christena Amanda Beckerdite (1841-1862)
6. John Henry Beckerdite (1844-1907)
7. Caleb Alexander Beckerdite (1847-1918)
8. Hugh Lawson Beckerdite (1851-1915)
9. Eliza Jane Beckerdite Bodenhamer (1853-1921)
