Funeral services for Charles "Ronald" Wilson, Ogdensburg, will be held Saturday, March 7, at 10 a.m. at Frary Funeral Home with Rev. F. James Shurtleff and Tom Nichols concelebrating. Entombment will be in Foxwood Memorial Park. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Mr. Wilson passed away Tuesday, March 3, at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.

He is survived by his wife, Irinea "Erly"; one son, Robert and his wife, Wanda, of Supply, NC; two daughters, Ronette Wilson of Wilmington, NC, and Ronalyn Wilson and her husband, Ronald Pratt, of Amsterdam; two brothers, Art Wilson, of South Colton, and Edward Wilson of Norwood; three sisters, Hope Brooks of Ogdensburg, Karen Moquin and her husband, Terry, of Morristown, and Cheryl Hazelton and her husband, Douglas, of Morristown; and five grandchildren, Treanna, Taelen, Trevor, Trevin and Taren Wilson. He is predeceased by a sister, Joan McDougal.

Mr. Wilson was born in Ogdensburg on September 15, 1943, the son of Charles and Inez Woodbridge Wilson. He graduated from Morristown High School in 1961. He married Irinea Guiwan on September 12, 1965, in the Philippines. They later renewed their vows on January 9, 1971, at the Baptist Church in Carthage.

Mr. Wilson initially served in the U.S. Army, later joined the Navy and then enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. He retired after becoming disabled.

Mr. Wilson was past president of the Disabled American Veterans, and he was a member of the Longshoreman. He enjoyed working on Chevrolet vehicles and country and western music.
