Arabella Jane Allison, daughter of John B. & Elizabeth Mosby Woodson Allison, married John Adelbert Gray on 26 July 1882 at her home in Sturgeon, Missouri. Arabella was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church and a lady of strong character and superior attainments.

After the death of her first husband, John Adelbert Gray who died in Colorado on 03 Jan 1900, Arabella Jane Allison Gray married Gustavus Adolphus Fischer on 23 November 1905. Gustavus was born in 1865 in Ohio.
