Raymond LeRoy Hedger, son of John and Rannie Hedger, was born May 16, 1932 and passed away June 19, 1967 at Richards-Gebaur Air Base emergency hospital, Belton, Mo. He was 35 years, one month, three days old.

He was united in marriage to Doris June Page on October 21, 1951. To this union was born two sons, Terry LeRoy and Donald Ellis.

He is survived by his wife, June, and sons, Terry and Donnie; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Hedger of Butler; one brother, Johnnie Hedger of Foster; five sisters, Mrs. Judith Food, Hickman Mills, Mo., Mrs. Francis Miller, Butler; Mrs. Fern Carlson, Alamogardo, New Mexico, Mrs. Maxine Miles, Belton, Mrs. Melva Eddington, Ukiah, Calif. and a host of uncles, aunts and other relatives.

Funeral services were held at Culver-Underwood chapel in Butler on June 22, with Rev. Leroy Beckham officiating. Pall bearers were cousins of the deceased, Richard Browning, Johnnie Browning, Woodrow Hedger, Cy Hedger, Jr. Hedger and Jerry Hedger.

Raymond was a cement contractor. Raymond died from cardiac arrest due to electrocution. He was installing an air condition in his home when he touched a live wire.
