Earl R. Furr, also known as Richard E. Chrisman, of 11 Centennial Court, was found dead at 4 a.m. Sunday in his car on the Rocky Ford Road near Lincoln. Logan County Couroner Ed Barry said there was no indication of foul play, or any reason to suspect suicide. Hs is awaiting results of an autopsy to determain cause of death, he said. A private funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Kerrigan Funeral Home, the Rev. Norman Goodman officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

The deceased was born June 5, 1940 in Lincoln. He was a son of John and Colletta Furr Swingle. He never married. Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Lincoln; a maternal grandmother, Mrs. Vernice Pollock, Lincoln; two half brothers, Melvin Chrisman and Michael Single, both of Lincoln; two half sisters, Mrs. James Barry and Mrs. Mark Marston, both of Lincoln; two nieces and two nephews.
