Willam Sexton Glass served in the Civil War from 1861-1862 on the Union side. The problem reported is:the Cemetery office has no record of this person. They also reported, specifically: the Cemetery has been walked and book published. There is no Glass person in the book. If any Glass persons are buried here, they have no markers.
William Glass was in a hospital in Covington suffering either from disease or battle. He died, so that time all the Civil War soldiers were buried in Linden Grove. William Glass was buried on Sept 11, 1862. On September 25, 1862 he was removed to Camp Nelson and given a proper burial. He may have a marker there.
