"I am a brother of Beverly Maxine May buried at this site in Oakwood Cemetery in Waukegan, IL. My name is Darrell B. May. b. 21 April 1935. Her parents were Max E. May b. 11 Dec. 1901 and Jennie R. May (nee Griswold) b. 18 April 1903.

The parents are buried in Hickory Union Cemetery on Edwards Road, rural Antioch, IL.

I was always told that she lived for about two weeks but that information is hearsay. All other in this testament is true and firm."

I believe Mr. May who wrote to me knows best. I think the stone is in a baby section of this cemetery as there were quite a few others with different surnames in one place.

"I do not believe this is the correct Baby May as I received a correction request for Baby May (50430084) in the Hickory Union Cemetery in Illinois and she is listed without name on the headstone between her parents. Can you remove the links to the parents as they are not related. The name maybe correct the bio is not. I am so sorry for this confusion as well."

I don't understand why it would not be possible for this family to have lost another daughter, but not for me to say apparently. Perhaps someone wanted the baby girl 'remembered' on the stone at Hickory Union Cemetery.

Suggested edit: Beverly Maxine May was born to Max Emil May and Jennie Ruth (Griswold) May. They are interred at Hickory Union Cemetery, Antioch, Illinois in a family plot there. Baby Maxine was born with severe defects. Two siblings are Richard Griswold May (b. 1926 d. 2001) and Darrell Bruce May (b. 1935). This additional information added 3 April 2021.
