Gainesville friends were deeply grieved to hear of the death of Chester Hirsch, 68, at Chandler, Arizona. He and his wife had travelled to Arizona for the winter. He underwent surgery on Friday and passed away on Sunday. Chester Hirsch was the son of William and Mary Hirsch and lived most of his life in this vicinity.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian; three sisters, Mrs. Fred Lounsbury of Port Chester, Mrs. Richard Hauxwell and Mrs. Mabel Belden, both of Gainesville; nieces and nephews.
