Services for Robert Fagerlind, 60, of 716 McCoy Road, will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Parrott and Wood Funeral Home, where friends may call after 6 p.m. Monday.
Mr. Fagerlind died at St. Francis Hospital, Waterloo, at 1:15 a.m. Monday. He was born March 1, 1915 at Winthrop, the son of Conrad and Clara Yeager Fagerlind. He married Elmonda Johnson July 25, 1936, in Waverly.
He was employed at Rath Packing Company for 34 years and also operated the Certified Music Studio in Evansdale.
He was a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, a charter member of Wartburg Symphony Orchestra and played in the Waterloo Symphony Orchestra from the age of 14.
He was president of Iowa Accordion Teachers Association, past city treasurer of Evansdale and treasurer of Local P-46 of the UPWA Union at Rath Packing Company.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Eddis Winstead of 701 McCoy Road and his father, Conrad of 1024 Amherst Street.
Friends wishing may give memorials to the Waterloo Symphony Orchestra and the Chevaliers Drum and Bugle Corps.
