Doretta Martha (Diters) Green, 92, of 1600 Hopmeadow Street, Simsbury, wife of the late Harry W. Green, died at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, Hartford. Born 10 Apr 1891 in Barkhamsted and had lived in Collinsville prior to moving to Simsbury more than 70 years ago. Member of the Simsbury Grange P of H, No 197.
She was survived by her two sons, John W. Green of Granby and Donald E. Green of Glastonbury; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
During the 1930's, she and her husband lived in Ensign-Bickford Co. owned housing at 2 Maple Court, Simsbury. They also lived in Weatogue in the 1920's.
