Keith Hopkins Clisby, 81, of Shady Cove, and Goodyear, Ariz., died June 16, 2007. He was born in Seattle, Wash. Keith enlisted in the Merchant Marines at 17, serving his country in World War II. Drafted into the Korean Conflict, he served on the front lines in the Army, receiving the Purple Heart. He received an Associates Degree from Graceland University in Iowa and did further studies at the New Mexico Institute of Mining & Technology. After returning to Seattle he became a draftsman, working for Boeing and Lockheed Corporation. In 1972 he and his wife, Donna, bought the Central Point Cleaners and operated it for 20 years, selling it in 1992. After retirement, he enjoyed his hobbies of fishing and woodworking. He was a member of the Community of Christ Church, Central Point Rotary, the Eagles Club, Medford Elks Lodge #1168, and the Disabled American Veterans. Keith was the beloved husband of 49 years to Donna: beloved father to Linda (Jim) Hoff, Cathy (Jack) Aungst, Jennifer Woodward, and Heather (Ron) Rayner; beloved grandfather to Jeff Stansfield, Scott Aungst, Jaclyn Aungst Murphy, and Ross Rayner; and beloved great-grandfather to Nick and Natalie Stansfield.
Surviving him in addition to his family is his sister, Rosemary Swayne.
