Earl B. Tyler, 76,Brewster, died Wednesday morning at a local hospital after a long illness.
He was born on Feb. 16, 1900, at Eastland, Texas and moved to Port Angles in 1923. Later he made his home at Shelton where he was a professional wrestler and worked for Rayonier Pulp and Paper Co. He llater moved to Brewster where he worked for Milner Orchards.
He married Harriet Leazott on Oct 26, 1931, at Okanogan. In 1940 they moved to Springfield, Ore. where he worked for Georgia Pacific until retiring in 1967. They then returned to Brewster Wa. Earl was a lifetime member of Liberty Masonic Lodge AM & FM No. 171 at Springfield Oregon, a member of the Puritan Eastern Star Chapter 144, at Bridgeport, and the National Rifle Assn.
Surving are his wife of the home; three daughters Geneva Lloyd, Springfield, Ore., Edith Swenson, Bridgeport, and Helen Gist, Upland, Calif; two brothers, Jesse of Elma and Bill of Cosmopolis, four sisters, Susie Miller, Ocean City, Nell Green and Daisie Doyle, both of Elma and Anne Peterson, Seattle; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and four great-greatgrandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Friday at 11:00 a.m. from the Brewster Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Trim officiating. Memorials maybe made to the American Cancer Society. Services were under the direction of the Precht Harrison Chapel, Brewter.
