MARY SARA SANDS MARZOLLA, 74, of Fair Lawn, formerly of Paterson, died after a short illeness. Before retiring in 1986, she was a bookkeeper for Modern Machine Co., Paterson, where she worked for 15 years. Surviving are her husband, Martin; two daughters, Marianne Gagnon of Manchester, NH, and Ellen Sicinski of Fair Lawn; a sister, Anne Meier of Phillipsburg; 2 nieces of Pennsylvania; six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Arrangements are by Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, Hawthorne.
Mary and her sister, Angie "E" were like two peas in a pod. As children and then as young girls, they were inseparable. They had lost their mother when they were very young and were shuffled from one family member to another. They had only each other to depend upon. The bond between the sisters remained until Mary died in 1992.
