Bauer Services Here Thursday
Funeral services for Ida Bauer, 59, Sidney, will he held Thursday, April 8, 1971 at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sidney with the Rev. Arlyn Russert officiating. Interment will be in Sidney Cemetery.
Mrs. Bauer died Sunday night, April 4 at Community Memorial Hospital where she was taken shortly after being stricken at home.
Ida Bauer was born at New Leipzig, N.D., Oct. 24, 1911, daughter of John and Margaret Friesz. She was raised in that area and was married there to Herbert Bauer Jan. 15, 1933. The couple lived in that area until coming to Sidney in October of 1952 where they have lived since. Ida worked some years at Valley Meat Company and has been working at Reynold's Store the past three years.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Surviving her are: her widower Herbert "Bert" of Sidney' four daughters, Mrs. Roy (Betty) Clause, Worden, Mont.; Mrs. Richard (Luella) Buxbaum, Sidney; Mrs. Keith (Darlene) Borders, Las Vegas, Nev.; and Mrs. John (Shirley) Goldsmith, Great Falls, Mont.; two brothers, Ed Freisz, New Leipzig, N.D., and Bill Freisz, Missoula; three sisters, Mrs. Rudolph (Emma) Uttke, Bismarck, N.D.; Mrs. Edwin (Hertha) Pastian, Missoula, and Mrs. Leonard (Helen) Sandau, Mandan, N.D.; and 11 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Bennie.
She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
