Clearfield Progress, Tuesday, January 20, 1976 The Funeral for P. Orvis Kline, 54, of Mt. Zion, Clearfield, R. D. 1., will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, from the Bennett Funeral Home, Inc. The Rev. John Stamm, will officiate. Interment will be in the Goshen Cemetery. Friends may call in the funeral home, from 7 to 9 p.m. today. Masonic Memorial services, will be held in the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. today. The family suggest that contributions be made to the Clearfield County Unit, American Cancer Society, E. Market St. Clearfield., Mr. Kline, died in his home, at 2:20 a.m. Monday, January 19,. He was a Veteran of World War II, a member of West Side United Methodist Church, an Engineer for PennDOT, past Master of the Clearfield Masonic Lodge, a member of the Condersport Consistory, a 32nd degress Mason, past President of the Clearfield Lions Club, Leadership Training Chairman, of the Bucktail Boyscout Council, and was Recipent of the Silver Beaver Award. He was born in Sanborn, April 23, 1921, a son of Paul John, and Ollie Mae ( Smeal ) Kline. Survivors include his wife, the former Dorothy J. Hainsey, two daughters, Mrs. Nancy Palmer, of Rotterdam, N. Y., and Mrs. Susan Bedard, of Newington, Conn., two sons, Orvis A. Kline, of Glenolden, and David Kline, of Clearfield., a sister, Mrs. Etta Rowles, of O'Shanter., a brother, Carl Kline, of Philipsburg., and eight grandchildren.
