Mr. Elzie Loraine Sellers, 68, of Rt. 1, Magee, died Saturday, July 17, 1976, at Magee General Hospital following a lengthy illness. Services were held Monday, July 19, at 4:00 p.m. from Mims Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Sharon Cemetery.
Mims Mitchell Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
Rev. John L. Jones and Rev. Joe Kelley were the officiating ministers.
Mr. Sellers was born, in Smith County September 13, 1907. He was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors were his widow, Mrs. Mattie Sellers, Rt. 1, Magee; 5 daughters, Mrs. Doris M. Thomas, Jackson, Mrs. Helen Hamilton, Okolonia, Mrs. Jean Jones, Bastrop, La., Mrs. Carol Ann Bowen, Rt. 1, Magee, Mrs. Jerrie Lynn Martin, Raleigh; 1 son, Mr. Charles Ray Sellers, Jackson and 15 grandchildren.
