Funeral services for Mrs. Suda Lee Beard, 92 of Brownsboro, mother of a Frankston man, were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Church of Christ at Chandler, with Wes Price and Ponder Wright officiating.
Burial was in the Rock Hill Cemetery near Chandler, under the direction of Burks-Walker-Tippit Funeral Home of Tyler.
Serving as pallbearers were Jack Stringer, Cecil Worsham, Calvin Oden, Gene Phaup, J.P. Parker and W.E. McLean.
She was born in Hill County, and lived in Henderson County since 1911, and in Brownsboro since 1941, and was a member of the Chandler Church of Christ.
Survivors are three sons, Jack Beard of Tyler, Tom Beard of Brownsboro and Bruce Beard of Frankston; a daughter, Mrs. Murl Stokes of Brownsboro; two sisters, Mrs Kate Bottom of Dallas and Mrs. Delma Barnett of Austin; twelve grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
