Hatcher, Cecil C. Age 75 of Maryville, died Monday, October 16, 2000 at his home in his workshop. He was a member of Prospect Baptist Church, a WWII Navy veteran and an avid camper. He retired from Alcoa Aluminum Co. after 38 years of service. Member of Rockford Lodge #469 F & AM and a member of Knoxville Scottish Rite Bodies, 32 degree.

Preceded in death by his parents, Ollie & Nora Carr Hatcher; brother, Bascom Hatcher; sisters, Emmer Newman & Viola Donaldson.

Survivors: wife, Virginia Hatcher; children, Dinah & Gary Rowland, Margarretta & Leon Davis, Dennis & Cheryl Hatcher, Judith Broyles all of Maryville, Michael & Karen Hatcher of Marietta, Georgia; grandchildren, Kip & Jan Davis, Dale & Jennifer Davis, Mark Rowland, Clay & Traci Davis, Keith & Kelli Rowland, Matthew Hatcher, Jonathan Hatcher, Kelsey Hatcher & Jessie Hatcher; great-grandchildren, Lane, Cooper & Caroline Davis, Tanner & Reid Evans.

Masonic & Funeral services 8:00 pm Wednesday, October 18, 2000 West Chapel, Smith Mortuary with Rev. Ernest Condy & Rev. Clarence Evans officiating. Family & friends will assemble at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 19, 2000 at Grandview Cemetery for the interment. Memorial donations may be made to Prospect Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Wednesday, Smith Mortuary , Maryville, Tennessee.
