He worked in law enforcement. He married Norma Dean Bruton on Nov. 8, 1944 and she preceded him in death. He later married Gloria Nadine Parker on Feb. 5, 1988 in Hartshorne. Survived by his wife, Gloria, of the home; two sons and daughters in law, Jimmy and Nancy Watson of McAlester, and Charles and Danita Mackey of Indianola; a daughter and son in law, Vickie and Ed Jones of Dow; six grandchildren; a sister and brother in law, Pat and Joe Belusko of Hartshorne; four brothers and sisters in law, Herbert Watson, Hanford, CA, Richard and Katherine Watson of Hartshorne, Bill and Jo Ann Watson and Pete and Barbara Watson, all of Houston, TX. And, an uncle and aunt, W. C. and Beulah Hammontree of Hartshorne; an aunt, Mamie Scherer of McAlester; a brother in law, Gene Bruton of Hartshorne; and two sisters in law and brothers in law, Janice and Don Faith of Muskogee, and Carole and Jim Scott of Okmulgee; his mother in law, Doshie Bruton of Hartshorne; two brothers and sisters in law, Bobby and Sherry Parker of Hartshorne, and Harold and Judy Dobson of Gowen.
