WINAMAC - Mace Oscar Conn, 81, retired farmer, of Rt. 2 Star City, died at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Pulaski Memorial Hospital. A life resident of this county, he had been ill for six and a half months.
Born in Pulaski County Sep. 18, 1883, he was the son of Henry and Rebecca Morgan Conn. His marriage on Dec. 23, 1908 was to Lizzie Eelyn Fry, who died Nov. 28, 1957.
Surviving are a daughter and a son, Mrs. Louise Nickels and Donald Conn, both of Logansport; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a brother Albert Conn of Star City, rural route. He was preceded in death by a son, two brothers and two sisters.
