Funeral services for Paul Alexander, 51, of Wagoner were held at 11 a.m. today (Monday) in the Mallett Chapel with Reverend O.D. Williams officiating. Mr. Alexander died Friday, March 10, 1972 in the Veterans Hospital in Muskogee.
Mr. Alexander was born November 17, 1920 in Wagoner, Oklahoma. Following service in World War II, he was employed as a mechanic, and as a maintenance man in the hospital in Joplin where he made his home for many years before returning to Wagoner a year ago.
Mr. Alexander is survived by his wife, Marjean Alexander of Chicago, Illinois; one daughter, Judy Beasley of Chicago; a granddaughter, an aunt, Mrs. Lorene Deere of Wagoner and an uncle, Roosevelt Alberty of Evanston, Illinois.
Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery directed by Mallett Funeral Home. Pallbearers included Charles Johnson, Ollie Blandon, Howard Murray, Arthur Henton, Buddy Cole and Herman Shire.
