Born November 11, 1888 in Rush County, he was the son of Solon and Lucy Hankins Lee.
He was a member of the Main Street Christian Church.
His first wife, Mamie Barnes, died in 1941. On June 9, 1958 he married Frances Ewalt, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Wilbur Loren Lee of Charlottesville, Wayne E. Lee of Georgetown, IN. and Charles Lee of Rushville; one daughter, Helen Buchanan of Rushville; one brother, Roy Lee of Rushville; one sister, Mrs. Gladys Barber of Greensburg; eleven grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. One brother and two sisters preceded him in death.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Moster and Sons Mortuary with Robert Taylor in charge. Burial will be in the East Hill Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. on Sunday.
