Mrs. Grace Winkler, 54, wife of Oda Winkler, died at the family home on the Frank Sample farm, in Jackson Township, at 5 p.m. yesterday. She had been ill of neuritis.
The deceased was a native of Johnson County and was born June 3, 1881, the daughter of Jefferson Davis and Mary White Winkler. She was a member of the Main Street Christian Church of this city.
Survivors besides the husband are: three daughters, Mrs. Mabel Whittaker of Connersville, Mrs. Edith Lee of Ging, and Mrs. Helen Hankins, at home; a son, Wilbur Winkler, at home; her father, Jefferson Winkler of Franklin; three brothers, Harry and Edgar Winkler of Rush County and William Winkler of Los Angles, Calif.; and two sisters, Miss Dora Winkler of Rushville and Mrs. Myrtle Smith of Rush County.
Funeral services will be held at the residence at 2 p.m. Friday. In charge are the Reverends Walter Crawley of Falmouth and W.H. Funderburk of Rushville. Interment will be in East Hill Cemetery.
