Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church of Dumas with the Rev. Eddie Schafer of Pleasant Terrace Baptist Church, Dallas, and the Rev. Scott Willingham of First Baptist Church, Dumas, officiating. Burial will be in Dumas Cemetery by Morrison Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Lawrence was born in Mount Vernon. A Dumas resident since 1984, she moved to Irving nine months ago. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Dumas.
Mrs. Lawrence was a homemaker and pastor's wife, pastoring with her husband for more than 60 years and traveling with him to religious crusades in more than 11 countries. She was a graduate of Baylor University.
She married the Rev. William R. Lawrence in 1930. He died in 1992. She also was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Lawrence, in 1955.
Survivors include a son, Bill Lawrence of Dumas; a daughter, Janice Ruth of Irving; four grandchildren; and seven greatgrandchildren.
The family will be at 1005 Bennett. They request memorials be to a favorite charity.
