Although his obituary stated he was born 8 Sep 1846, a Lakey bible entry stated 06 Sep 1847.
Children: Kissiah Thorp, William, Jesse, Blanche McKinney, John, Susan F Owens, Simon, Martha, Mary Jane Ballinger, and Samuel D. William, Jesse, Blanche, Susan, and Mary survived him.
Lived 1850 Ozark County, 1860-1880 Douglas County, and 1900-1910 Wright County.

"Enos Lakey Dead
Enos Lakey passed away Tuesday after an extended illness.
Deceased was born September 8, 1846, and was 68 years, 8 months and 23 days old at the time of his death. He was one of our best citizens and one who will be missed from the community where he has so long resided.
Rev. Charles Findley conducted the funeral yesterday from the Moody Freewill Baptist church, Mr. Lakey having been a faithful member of that denomination. Interment in the Moody cemetery.
Mr. Lakey is survived by tree daughters and two sons, wife having died about 15 years ago.
The bereaved relatives have the sympathy of a host of friends."
