FUNERAL SERVICE OF THOMAS STEWART TODAY
The funeral service of Thomas Stewart will be conducted at the late residence of the deceased, on West Trade street, this afternoon at three o'clock. The service will be conducted by Rev. J. M. Pressly, Pastor of the West Avenue Presbyterian church, of which Mr. Stewart was a member. Interment will be in Elmwood cemetery. Acting as pallbearers will be Harry Sanders, J. H. McAden, George F. Dunn, D. H. Johnston, Rollen McCord and George Hartman. The members of the city school board will meet at the city hall at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon, and will attend the funeral in a body. For the last two years Mr. Stewart has been a member of the board.
